That’s pretty much how it went with me. I’ve been drawing and painting and creating since I was old enough to say “pencil!” Then I went to school and learned some more.
I started drawing portraits in a sketchbook and chalk pastels and just added different media as I went along. Now I paint portraits in oils, acrylic, watercolor and digitally. I love capturing the essence of a person in an artistic way!
